Home is where one comes from. It all truly started in a 500 square foot cottage in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. Annie’s mother would alter clothing and drapery for clients out of their little cottage, allowing her to stay at home and raise Annie and her sister. Always a mother first, even still this business grew and grew into a household name. From a young age Annie was surrounded by the most beautiful textiles known to man. Threads on her clothing and lugging fabric bolts were commonplace and consequently, a love affair was born.
MY STORY
Annie’s love for beautiful things expanded into curating beautiful homes. Very early in her career Annie had the fortunate experience of working with some of Niagara’s Top Interior Designers. This priceless experience combined with her own innate ability has inspired Annie to transform countless spaces. Her love for soft furnishings naturally expanded into a full service drapery workroom but just like the humble abode that started it all, design has no size restrictions. No matter how big or how small, Annie can create and execute a vision – pulling the pieces together is her speciality.
Annie now lives in her Wainfleet Farmhouse with 1 extremely encouraging husband, 3 teenagers, 8 silky fainting goats and a motley crew of 4 dogs.
When Annie Rive and Robert Rolfe began searching for a house for their blended family of five, they knew they wanted a homestead. This vision of home became a reality when they stumbled upon a 3,400 sq. ft. farmhouse on four acres of land in rural Wainfleet. “We pulled up the circle driveway, saw the house overlooking the pond,” says Annie. “We walked in and bought it that day.”
